Threads

Madeira Rayon - 9 colours.

Fill Stitches.

Each Region is filled with a tatami pattern at various angles and with a pitch of 2.0 mm between stitches.
Each line is offset by 28 percent.

Material and Stabiliser

I've stitched this design out on satin,"good quality" cotton polo shirts and low cost cotton T- shirts using a medium thickness stabilizer ( Stitch and Tear ). I also used a light embroidery adhesive glue ( 505 ) with the polo and T-Shirts to add a bit of extra bonding.

Notes

I would recommend turning the embroidery machines stitch speed down a couple of notches ( if possible ). I usually have mine running at half speed. It does take twice as long to stitch a design but I do seem to get much better embroidery results in the process.

The Snowflakes were put on separately using a 150 X 240 frame. If anybody wants them send me an e-mail and I will include it as a download link on this page.
